1st Photoshoot - Black Onyx - F16 SR22 - wheel
Here are some photos taken from this past weekend of my 06 IS250. I bought the car several months ago from a one owner female driver at a great price with 36K miles. The only mod she made was the addition of the chrome wheels. Yeah I know. She doesn't remember where she purchased them, much less the manufacturer. I have had the wheels off and I can't find a name stamped anywhere. I have searched on the net & haven't had any luck. Anyone have any idea?? Whenever I save enough $$ and buy the Tom's Wheels, these will be sold.
I have spent alot of time reading and researching the IS. The best information, people and vendors are here on CL. I have completed alot of DIY that I thought I could never do. But with the help of CL members threads with pics, I have successfully completed each mod I started...so far! I have learned so much about my car here it is unbelievable...a wealth of information for every Lexus owner. My dealer has been wonderful, fixing all of the TSIB's and Service Campaigns that I bring them. Fantastic Lexus service & fun loaner cars to use too! So far, I've installed a K&N intake, red tail overlays, yellow fogs with yellow overlay, Dice Ipod intergration, CF dash with F-Sport shifter, Nav-Hak, 35% tint AA and Magnaflow exhaust. Soon to come are F-Sport srings & sways. I know I know...I should be slamming it, riding on air, scrapin' the frame because I'm looking like a 4WD...LOL! For now, this is what I am wanting...maybe later some coils...the more I see, the more I like. Guess we are just like that with our cars.
Sorry to ramble...enjoy the pics. The planes in the photos are a SR-22 Blackbird, F-16 Fighting Eagle, AC-130 Spectre gunship and an F-15 Talon. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks! I give all the credit to my wife. She is a photojournalist. She used a Canon EOS D Mark II with a 70-200 F2.8 and a Canon D40 with a 17-35 F2.8. Most of the shots were natural light at sunset (no tripod) but she did use 1 Canon flash attached to the camera and 1 Canon flash as a slave bounced off of a reflector. The night shot was handheld with a shutter speed of .06 seconds at f -18. Steady!!
