The paint is bubbling on my stock rims...
I recently noticed that the paint on my stock (OEM) rims has started to bubble and chip. Note is on all four rims, some worst then others. I am posting a quick pic I took of this. Can anyone suggest what to do about it? I have about 57k miles so I am past the regular warranty, not sure if its covered under the 7year or whatever. Also, I do live in the snow belt, but have taken good care of these, as to clean them quite often (at least once every 2 weeks) even in the winter time. So I am confused as to why this would be happening. Anyone else have this happen? If so, was the dealer any help?
Thanks.
*sorry, the rims are a bit dirty, did a lot of driving this weekend and didnt get a chance to wash it this week.

Yes they have been used during the winter time. Not sure what else to drive on . However, I do have a second set of rims that I use for the summer time, so that's the good news. Whats the best way to go about repairing them without costing too much?
On a side note, anyone else in the snow belt have their rims look like this after 3 winters? My other cars, which I care much much less for, do not show any wear like this. Oh well...

Whether you drive in salt or not, the wheels should be able to withstand typical winter exposure. If not, everyone's wheels would be peeling. Either something got on there that shouldn't have or they are defective. Dealer will decide, take it in.

My rims are the same, I figured that someone had done a cheap repair at some point. The cars first 2 winters were in MD area and now its in VA. I was planning on sanding them down, priming and shooting them gun metal anyways. IS350's quiet pads produce too much dust for that shade of rim for my tastes.
