Shop said they can't align - car is too low! What now?
I went to have my car aligned last week as it's been a few weeks since my springs were installed (by the same shop), and they said they couldn't do the alignment because my car was too low. Apparently, the machine works by sending/receiving signals from the wheel area, and because of the drop on the car, the signals can't "see" one another enough to get the alignment done.
The shop said that I needed to go somewhere that has an underground bay beneath the car and the alignment machine on that bay.
Does this make sense? Anyone have any recommendations? Would my dealer be able to do the alignment?
thanks in advance.

The OP said that the dealer couldn't align the car because it was too low. Has anybody here actually bothered to ask the OP just how low his car is? It may, in fact, be TOO LOW!
