Oddly enough, I would have to disagree with the paint being soft. I've detailed a lot of different cars from Honda to Acura, Porsche, Buick, Toyota and the paint on this car is probably one of the hardest paint's I've dealt with. Getting defects out was much more difficult on this car that the Acura TL I did last weekend. But yea, nothing looks better than a clean black car.
And no, using a zip tie doesn't sound odd at all. I was actually going to get a hose clamp or something to put around the rubber hanger but a zip tie would work just fine if I can get it tight enough.

4+ Hours of Polishing the paint before putting on the wax. Oh and Clay before polishing. Meguiars makes some good stuff. People rave about Zaino, but for my money, Meguiars Mirror glaze line is great. And I haven't found too many things better than NXT on black.
