The reason I ask is because according to the tire manufacturers they state that the widest rim you should run on a 275 is 10"

i was thinking of doing a 245 on a 10.5 too

yeah, they are not going to tell you its ok to run stretched tires on a 10" wide wheels. There are just too many liability issues involved here...

For us enthusiasts, we like to try new things and pushing it to the limits..

Me too. Looks like if the car goes over a hard bump the lip of the rim would Pwn the fender. Looks pretty badas$ tho

I'm running a 19x10 with a 275/30 and the tire is perfectly straight up and down with the lip of the wheel. It's not stretched at all, so I can't see how running a wheel that is .5 wider would have any bad side effects. I say a 275 would be fine. I was actually looking into a set of 10.5's and was considering running 265/30's.

ive been having a similar question (i guess)

i have 19x8.5 wheels all around, d2autosport is suggesting 245/35, but my good friend mentioned 235/35...you guys have any input? what are the pros/cons off running a bigger/smaller tire?

d2 said i "shouldn't" rub with 245.

sry, im new to the whole car scene.

I'm running 225 on a 9.5 wide rims. No problem so far.
