did you? pictures pictures!!

btw to the OP i'm saying any black would look nice on a black car cause it just matches. but for any other colored 2IS i would have to say FLAT BLACK FTW

Heres old pictures of my car with flat black. which is why it flows nicely. a black gloss ruins the whole contrast of the car color

If I had a darker car I would do this. Cheap and easy. It was one of the first things I did when I had my impreza.

Again, pics suck (damn reflections... crappy iPhone quality...) but hopefully you get the idea.

From a distance you can notice the housing is just darker, and not reflecting any light like a stock one would.

Still waitin' on a sunny day... probably not gonna get one for a while (Pac. NW )

Damn, I want to do this so badly but I'm chicken. Someone convince me that it's a piece of cake, hopefully with a full DIY w/pics.

There's a DIY on getting the bumper off, and accessing the fogs, which gives enough info to allow you to get to the headlights. It's self explanatory once you get the bumper off.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...for-cspec.html

After that, I posted plenty of details in the first post to give you the information you need to disassemble the headlights, paint and reassemble. Don't be afraid to touch the stuff guys. It's the only way to learn.

Is there a DIY for the actual headlight baking? Can anyone make this?
