I can probably do some people's fog if you really want to, just provide the parts, its not really that pricey anyways.

Here is a list:
Pair of fogs purchased from ebay-150
Bosch mini projectors- 50
HID kit from ebay- 60
misc.-20

So grand total would be about 280 plus a lot of patience and time with cutting, drilling and testing. Another thing would be that it beats paying 2000 for the jdm foglights, but the DRLs on them are pretty sick though. I don't know about the output of them though since I have yet to see a pic of them.

Incredible retrofit!!

Beats the 2k cover for the JDM set, I’m shocked to see how nice the H3 Mini’s are, the cutoff and color is really impressive.

You should of painted the housings black while you had it open.

He didn't black out his headlights either when he retro'd it. Doubt he's going for the look

T, how hard is it to remove the fog lights from the bumper? Does it like pop right out? I wonder if anyone will notice if I drive around for a few days without my fog lights... (Not like I really use them, anyway!) Also, did you buy fog light aftermarket replacements from ebay? If so, how'd they fit

Anyway, I too would like to see some output pics, preferably regarding the width of the beam (if you can cover your headlights, that would be awesome too!).

Thanks to your headlight retro, I did mine. Now I may follow suit for this too.

Is there a specific type of paint you need to use for the housing due to heat?

in addition, what kind of hid kit do I buy? I am completely noob to the lighting scene. The factory connector is 9006 (right?) so do I buy the 9006 kit with ballest and d2s blubs or do I buy a d2s kit? A link would help me greatly. Thanks in advance.

I bought the fogs off some guy from japan, it was taken off a IS350 so its OEM. I also looked at the fogs while I was putting on my GFX lip and it looks like only a couple of screws, so it's not gonna be too bad.

I will get some output pics as soon as I finish this.
