i hate Canada custom!!!!
i ordered a few parts from sewell a while ago, they shipped via Fedex.
2 weeks later after i received all my parts, Canadian custom sent me
an invoice for the tax payment and brokerage fee. My total value for the parts is $515 usd, guess what? i have to pay $180 cnd tax on that!
i couldnt say a word when i got that invoice. crazy!

I've figured out that it is more expencive to order something being shipped from Seattle than to drive down there and get it my self (and yes I accounted for exchange rate as well as the time + gas)
What I do now ... shop state side or order things to a mail box just on the other side

I ordered my GFX kit from Sewell I just got it shipped to a friends place in Buffalo and went and picked it up. No problems with customs they didn't really ask about my kit. I guess I got lucky...
