Wide wheels decreases MPG significantly?
I am not sure if its the way I've been driving (which havent changed much cept once or twice I push it a little to explore some new found grip), my avg fuel consumption per tank went from 29 ish to 24 ish on a local/highway mix.
My consumption for mostly highway went from 31 ish to a nice 25 mpg.
My tires were 225 all around and now its 235 front and 275 rears.
Dang if I gotta fill up weekly I might have to retire this from its daily obligations

oh true.... the tire size does mess up the odo and speedo thus my mpg is off... crap cuz I really rely on that too
I am running work emotion xd9, which are lighter than stock so that shouldnt be an issue.
Why cant people run stagger on awd? lambo does stagger on their awd, so does porsche etc etc
Oh yeah Andrew, wait till you drive slow, like real slow, keeping the rev under 2k slow. Our cars are very good at it lol, loads of loads of pissed off people today cuz I was trying to bring up my MPG

I'm thinking it has to do with how the AWD system is hooked up to the ECU. For example, the IS250AWD would have "equal diameter wheels+tires" on all sides to calculate everything. The Lambo or Porsche may have programming to account for the staggered sizes? I don't know.

Because it'll ruin the differential.
A car maker might design the system for different sized wheels from the factory, and program the appropriate bias into the AWD system.
But the IS250 isn't such a car. It expects -identical- total wheel/tire diameter front and rear, and if you run it without identical front/rear diameter you'll be replacing some very expensive drive train parts eventually.
