well IMO it depends on where you drive around and how,
im from OC and most cops dont pay attention to tint unless if you get pulled over
ive been pulled over many times and have had friends as well and never had an issue all of our tint on front windows run from 35 - 15%
ive only gotten a fix it ticket once and that was just because i was being let off from another ticket (which was by a CHP officer in lancaster)

Ooooh I like the spiders in black.I get away with 35% front and 18% rear/back in Central Cali. See if you can push your luck and go 18% all around (just roll down the window(s) really quickly if you spot a cop).

LOL - slapping black wheels on a car does not make it "murdered-out". If you want that look, apply limo tint to your windows, smoke your taillights & reflectors & fogs, paint your emblems/grill bezel/etc, and black-out your headlights. Oh, and it would probably help if you have a black car.
