Can't decide between G37 or IS350

Now that that's out of the way... Go with the IS350 (or IS-F if you wanna really show up those boys at Infiniti!). The Infiniti is a good drive, but the interior still strikes me as "cheap" not plush as the Lexus. Go with the IS350, you won't regret it. My two cents

Not sure if your search pulled up the following thread, but in it, many members explain why they chose to purchase the IS.

Its a good idea to drive both cars again, because in all fairness we are a bit biased when it comes to Lexus's (Lexi? lol). But it'll be the exact same on the g37driver.com forum, where they'll tell you the G is better. It's all a matter of opinion.

Are you going for G37 coupe or sedan? I would also check with a dealer to test drive the IS350 with fsport upgrades. It will have better handling than the stock. G37 has 19" wheels but you can always upgrade the wheels on the IS. But you can't upgrade the center console on the G37
. For me, it was the reliability and also the sound of the dual intake that annoys me. Even though I have a Lexus HKS which sounds sporty when I press the gas, it is also very quiet on those long drives.

There is no G35S as one poster here thought.
Having both cars, albeit our IS is a 250, they are alike in many ways. The big difference as far as I’m concerned, is the advanced electronics in the G, including a superior navigation system, with a great 9.3GB hard drive that will store over 300 CD’s, that replaces the antiquated 6 CD changer.
As some posters have suggested, prospective buyers should drive both cars, as it really narrows down to a matter of chemistry. I too, was considering an IS350 before I bought my G37 coupe, and it was a difficult decision.

The G37 comes in both a coupe and a sedan. They both share major components including engine, transmission types, and interiors. The G37 sedan is a bit bigger than an IS, so that solves the rear seating limitation of the IS, if that’s important to you. The G37 coupe has back seats too, but they’re worse than the IS’s.

I totalled my 06 is350 SGM w/ Nav, ML and sports package last year. I waited a year and had many choices to choose from (mb350, acura tl type s, bmw 335, g37, and is350). And now I just bought another is350 again, 07 GFM w/ Nav, ML and luxury package.
Even after all these years, is350 is still the best overall choice of all the cars in the same class. I have not seen any other cars that can match up to the interior design of the is350. Performance is just right for me. Looks is awesome.
