Ok for the the guy whom wrote this is a NY'r and the registration sticker isn't like us cali guys..I grew up in NY and the sticker goes on the inside on the front window driver side right above the dash board..So all you cali guys chill, yes it seems simple but if you never lived in NY that sticker is a BIG PAIN IN THE A$$ to get off..What I used to do is wet it & get the razor blade holder that holds the blade so the whole blade faces out at the bottom and just take your time and scape it off. Also for all you Cali guys it's WAY HARDER to just drive your car in NY not only do have a Registration Sticker you also have a Inspection sticker right next to it..& yes cops in NY will turn around if they see you colors aren't right & pull you over..

Goo Gone might do the trick. I always use it to get my registration sticker off when it rips while I'm taking it off. You might want to take off the plate, put some goo gone on the sticker and let it soak for a few minutes before trying to remove it again. You can buy the stuff at target, wal-mart, etc

alright thanks for the info guys, I can't put it on the old one, the new one won't be visiable. I will take off the old one using razor blade.
