I'm not aware of any button inside the car but have you tried both positions of the switch next to the light. They come from the factory set to off. Its black so if its dark its hard to see. So before you go get a bulb, open the trunk then look under the deck where the rear sub is you should be able to see the light fixture with the switch on the side of it.

The tint is a few hundred and a 35% VLT is nice unless you wanna go ghetto. Get a clear bra to stop the bug paint chips before it's too late. A personal plate is cheap enough, along with a tinted license plate cover. That's as far as I've gotten. If I get anything else, it will be a nice set of larger wheels for non-snow driving.
