Hopefully her old motor had a lot of miles and she got a new motor at their expense.

No Jiffy Lube or Quick Stop for me. I do it myself so I know it's done right & there is actually oil in the engine. It's an easy DIY.

I wouldn't go to Jiffy Lube. I knew someone that worked there a while back and he said that they half-a** everything. Take it somewhere reputable or DIY if you don't wanna go to the dealership.

just do it yourself. Really easy to do! Save time and money! Sleep good at night, just knowing your car is going to be ok!

And half that much at a quick oil change place in about 20 minutes. I have used quick change places for years, not a single problem & I do most of the other work on all my cars its just to much of a hassle disposing of the oil

Even if you go to the dealer, Make sure they use 5w-20 (A TSB changed our recommended oil from 5w-30 to 5w-20)

Geez, you guys are too uptight about your cars. I take mine to the cheap 10 min place all the time. Ultimately, it's the kids/guy who is doing the thing. Just watch them, tell them to be careful not to strip anything and tell them just oil change. No fluids, no tire check, etc. If they do tires, the'll reduce the PSI to 32 LOL. Even dealerships make mistakes, the dealership rotated my IS350 wheels and in one case, the dealership broke my door off after washing the car - they backed out of the garage with one of the doors open!!!
