There was heavy rain last night and I could not see very clearly. I was trying to get into the freeway when i hit a sharp pothole. It blew my brand new front and rear tires and I was literally going 65 mph on my rim.

Happened to my friend once too, an a few other cars got messup pretty bad in a pothole. You can attempt to get the city to pay for the repair if I recall. Its worth a shot, gluck

I know at least here in Hawaii, you can file the claim with the State and apply for reimbursement. You basically have to pay for all the damages first (whether out of pocket or thru insurance), and then submit the bill. It takes a long time, but my wife got reimbursed. I think you also need to submit photos of the pothole etc...

i go through potholes everyday, im glad they started paving the roads again around my area. omg i feel ur pain. glad that ur ok.

This happens to the best of us. I just put MOMO's on my 2gen and less than a month later, blew a rim and tire on a pothole from hell. Sorry for your loss.
