I only got the rear, since I read that the difference for the front was negligible. I have to spread my budget between the IS and the Prelude. Right now, I'm trying the make the IS catchup to the Prelude in the handling department, no small feat considering the Prelude already handled way better than the IS before I modded the Prelude's suspension (Front & rear sways, lowering springs and performance shocks).

I've taken the same corner as sharply if not more with the Prelude. It ate up the corner easily. Now, if I can make the IS drift when taking the corner.......

Default Sway bar question

Sorry for the *** question, but did the new sway bar come with bushings or did you reuse the original one's?

I'm considering upgrading the rear sway-bar on my '07 IS250 and was curious if there is any additional parts required.

Thanks...

Get both bars if you have a 250

I didn't have to drive aggressively to wear out the Turanzas.

Why would you do both bars on an IS250 but only recommend 1 on the IS350?

If you go to Fsport.com and look at the specs of the F-sport bars compared to stock you find the following:

Spec Front Rear

Stiffness increase (250 RWD) 46.6% 42.8%

Stiffness increase (350 RWD) 6.3% 151.5%

That's why I'd do both bars on a 250.

(well, I did both on a 350 too, but you can at least make a decent argument for only doing the rear there)

How much did you pay for the sway bar from ebay? Sewell sells it for $495.

$175 + $16.95 shipping. Just do a search. There's not that many sway bar options for the IS.
