read and help please!
i am wondering do any of you guys hear a very loud obnoxious ticking sound coming from under the hood of the car? It comes from the passenger side under the hood. It is very loud like a ticking or rattling sound and i was wondering is this normal

Sounds like common rail injection noise.

yeah it can get really loud at times. since we have direct fuel injection.

i hope its normal.. i heard its a sound that usually comes from older cars and from the car being driven hard.

You'll hear it on more and more new cars going forward as direct injection becomes more common
