The IS250 is looked down upon for it's power, yet Lexus still uses it as it's prime example for it's F-Sport line.

Yup, I just wish it was just a tad bit faster, 250hp would of been nice for the is250, its slower then almost every car in its class But its cool with tho, if i wanted speed I would have kept my rsx-s and slapped on my jackson racing supercharger kit and rape 90% of lexus' on the street lol but eh screw that

luxury > speed, all day errday!

From what I remember, RSX-S with jackson supercharger will only put out close to 250 WHP to the front wheels.

I doubt that will keep up with all the Lexus out there. Especially with the IS-F, IS350, and all the IS300,SC,GS with 2JZ engine in them.

Like we all once said, if you want speed you should of got an is350 or IS-F.

I'm on the same boat,,,
I enjoyed my G35 for a year,,loved how few Bolt-Ons got me lots of performance gain (unlike our Lexus)....and grew out of that racing phase

stock RSX-type S won't keep up with G35 6MT,,
little modded RSX-type S won't keep up with little modded G35 6MT,,
it might be faster on the streets, but it's definitely slower on the freeway
and yes,,we tried this,,my friend's modded RSX-type S and my modded G35 6MT,,smoked him everyday on the freeway
but then again,,it's not really all about the cars,,it really depends on the driver too,,
and he was only willing to push up to 120 when I was all the way up to 150

and I'm glad I sold that G and got myself IS250..lol..slow,,luxury,,keep myself safe~!

i made 228whp w/ jsut bolt ons, whattta u think woulda happen w/ FI? close friend of mine is puttin down near 300whp at onyl 9psi // mine was pretty quick tho, as mention already i was pulling on 350z, g35s, is350s, s2k, evos and stis off a roll, but then again..driver mod was really helpful in my case being able to out launch a rwd 350z in a fwd rsx w/ stock suspension and tires (which were sad tires btw) says something about the driver

I have raced many 05-06 RSX-S even my friends which is highly modified. He has all bolt on with same mod as your RSX minus the tune. He could not keep up with my car at all.

Driver mod is more important then mods bro. I just posted a vid of me pulling on a 350z in a 1/4 run, with just a reflashed ecu and cold air intake, when i had my cams in i was making 240ish to the wheels, at that time, sti/evos were no prob (lite modded of course) i never had any problems w/ g35s/350z/is350s/s2ks with just i/rh/ex/tune, none at all, out of the many i ran i probably lost 2 and those were modded just as much as the type-s was. i'm glad i got rid of that car, i woulda killed myself in that pos.
