My 09 IS 350 with X- pack was recently in for service and I had an IS-F loaner. While I like the engine of the IS-F I found the ride twitchy and the suspension too tight. I am sure the 19" wheels had a lot to do with my reactions. The seats were also a bit too snug. I never thought i would say it but I prefer the X-pack ride over the IS-F ride.
I guess my days in my 1995 M3 and 2004 S2000 have taught me to enjoy a little softer ride.

Best I got was a 2007 Audi A4 Quattro w/400 miles on the odo. It was fun..gas eater though...or was it because I drove it like I didn't own it...?!?!! Nice car for a loaner. Dealerships usually like to place you in an upgrade model car to get you thinking ...ummm
maybe I should change my current car to this??!!!!!!!...Salesman..over here please
let's talk

It's not that crazy to hear this. I was able to borrow a 2008 IS-F Black/Black for 2.5 hours one Friday night. The dealership knew I waited to test drive it for a year and finally handed me the key (after filling out my car insurance paperwork) and said "Come back before we close. We close at 9pm." I said, SEE YA! LOL. I love the IS-F. But, I'm not sure I'd enjoy the roughness of it on a day to day drive.
