I tried to get remove the E ring. Use a flat screwdriver to pry it to the right side, can't seem to get it out. What is the right way to remove the E ring? I'm afraid it might get damaged so didn't use much strength.

If anyone had done it themselve, pls share. Thanks

I don't have any pics...sorry, the earliest I can get the pix is next weekend when I'll lift the car up again (daily driver)....pls if anyone had installed f-sport short shifter themselves, how can I remove the E ring?

i used a flat head screwdriver to pop it off. i remember it flying off and it took me a few minutes to find out where it landed. putting it back on was the hardest part of the install for me...

Use two flatheads, one on each side of the E. Just do it slow, or you'll be like me and have to go searching for it. And yea, getting it back on is a PITA too.
