i know for sure they are not part of the exhaust, but part of bumper.

The collector/tips/diffusers sections of the bumper are removable.
There are 4 bolts that hold them in place...

hm~~so how much is the ISF rear bumper??
I might try this once the WALD rear gets old
(but I don't think it will happen anytime soon,,WALD is just too damn sexy)
