Foreign Characters in MP3 Titles?
I have the mp3 sound system that comes with the premium (not luxuary) package.
I wonder whether there is a way to make it display foreign characters (say Chinese). Do I need to save the filenames/mp3 tags in a special encoding (e.g. unicode 8/16)? Or there is no way it will work?
Thanks in advance.

I have emailed Lexus, and it says that foreign characters can't be read =.=||
So I don't think that the factory IPod kit will help (originally was planning to get one). =(

sorry to bring this question back alive again.....
does flashing our EMV help??
obviously overseas Lexus can read every character
they can read Japanese, Korean, both type of Chinese
i guess it's either replacing our EMV with foreign model or flash our EMV

I think that flashing the firmware might work. But I haven't seem anyone online trying it, nor do I see any firmware available.
