Lightbulb New Interior LED's by Xenon Depot for the 2IS dome lights!!

Special Thanks to Steve of Xenon Depot for allowing me to test out these new LED's for the Front & Rear interior dome lights...

PUTCO LED Lighting Dome Kit for 06+ Lexus IS Models

The Fronts are 194 style single LED with capsule diffusers (3 of them)

and

The Rears are LED boards that lock into palce with 4 on each one.. (2 of them)

This application will work on all model year IS250, IS350 & IS-F's

I took a few pictures with the same camera setting to show the true color difference. But hard with just my point & shoot.

The new LED's are a nice crisp & clean white output.

I like this setup very much and it looks a whole lot better than the regular bulbs.

Stock Dome Lighting:

Xenon Depot LED Dome Lighting:

I will have Xenon Depot join us in here, with more specifics on the actual bulbs & boards used.
Along with some actual product photos...

Big Thanks to PhilipMSPT for making this happen!!!

Joe Z

Here is a pic of the box & LEDs used.

So it comes with:
(3) of the 194's wedge LED's for the Front Dome
and
(2) of the LED boards for the Rear Dome...

Hey Joe, thanks for the pictures. The big question for me is, does the diffusers remove the 3 dots effects common with other LED setup in the front? Also does it blink when it fades in and out? Those pictures looks great!

They'll fade out like the bulbs. It's not quite as smooth, but who cares? The LED's definitely fill the cabin with more usable light than the stock bulbs do.

The stock ones fade so much better. I have the AAC interior LED as well as puddle lights installed [the LED DRL and other lighting is going in soon as well] the led transition isn't as smooth, I would describe them as more slideshowish as they fade. The LED looks so amazing though, so no regrets!

i still can't get the front dome off on mine or else i'd totally have this done. I got the LEDs already for it (not from xenon depot), but still can't remove the front dome. Yes i've looked at the DIY and posted a thread on here but no luck =T
