hey guys, i just installed my ebay roof spoiler yesterday, the fitment i have nothing to complain about, it was good. after installation i went for a car wash....where the problem happened.....this morning i saw the 3m type under the spoiler starting to peel on one side, i tried to take it off and reinstall it with better tape, but i couldn't take it off, it was strong all around except that little area.
can anyone tell me how can i take it off from the car safely?

I'm pretty sure the spoiler is up there so you would have to squirt the acetone from the bottom and use something to kind of push the tape off like a blade of some sort. Acetone won't do much to paint if its just real quick. But just try not to let it touch too much for a long period of time that's all

if you can't pull it off most likely its not going to fly off! I would just heat up the back glass a little with a heat gun then us a plastic pry tool. Use one that's more like a wedge and slowly work your way underneath the spoiler to lift it off the glass. Try not to pry against the glass, thats what I did. Hint: when you re-tape the spoiler don't tape at the edge of the spoiler. Tape it away from the edge that way you don't see the tape. It looks better and cleaner!

I just used some fishing line and blow drier/heatgun last time to remove mine... just make sure to keep the pressure horizontal or you'll risk taking paint off the bottom of the spoiler.

i have to redo a part of my trunk spoiler too ... can i jus lift the spoiler up on the side a lil and then scrap out the worn out tape and reapply?
