Looking to buy an IS250 6 speed
#31
So I made a deal on a 2007 6 speed with 23,000 miles. I got it for 26k out the door with tag, title and all dealer fees. The car is silver with all black leather interior it has factory HID's and HID's in the fogs. It also comes with the sport package along with the Fsport exhaust. I also think it has the Fsport clutch and short shifter as the trows where a lot shorter than the previous cars I test drove and also the clutch was a lot firmer.
Even tho this car has 23,000 miles its in a hell of a lot better shape than the 2008 with 12,000 miles.

AlienX, Yes the clutch pedal height and free play is adjustable. Now, it's not going to be much different than what you have now. Just ask you dealer. I had a very good experience with Lexus dealer. Everythings should be cover by the dealer if something wrong with the car and if you not happy with the car. Your 09 IS should have no problems. REMEMBER, you don't ask, you don't know.
Time to call another dealer.

Hi Rob, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I just called another dealer, and the service guy told me exactly the same thing -- IS250 2009 has a hydraulic clutch, which is not adjustable =.=||
Good to learn that.
Thanks for sharing!

Are you guys sure it's not adjustable. I know a lot of toyotas are adjustable, the way you adjust them is through the rod attached to the pedal going to the clutch master cylinder. Then again I won't have my car till Saturday and I will check it out for my self to verify.
BTW: I'm very mechanically inclined and have done motor swaps from supras to hondas along with auto to stick conversions on many other cars.

Hmm...interesting, I did a further research online.
Hydraulic clutch doesn't really mean un-adjustable: http://www.tpub.com/content/construc.../14273_140.htm
Please post if anyone finds out whether it is adjustable...it will be nice to lower the clutch pedal -- shifting quicker
