Default Spacer 15mm

The Manufacturer recommend The F-Sport 18" Wheels to using tire size 225/40/R18 but the local tire shop put 235/40/R18. After installed, they do not rub at all.

(F-Sport 18" wheels are 18"x8"x40)

But I plan to install Ibachi Spacer 15mm to the Rear. So, will they rub?

Since you have the 18" F-Sport wheels which are intended for the AWD, and assuming you have a RWD like your sig says, you should have plenty of room.

The OE tires for the RWD are 255/40/R18. So, if you have 235's on the rear, I imagine they would not even be close to rubbing.

It's not even going to come close to rubbing. An 8" width at +25 offset (40-15) will still be sunken in. You could probably get a 25mm spacer on there and it still wouldn't rub since the rim is only 8" wide.

As I seen, the front wheel with 235/40/R18 do not rub but when I turn the steering they have around 1" space between tire and body. So, if I install F-Sport Lowering which will lower around 1", they will rub in turn for sure. So sad "_"

My car is RWD. The reason that I purchase 18" instead of 19" because of street condition are not suitable for them.

At here, IS250 Premium come with 225/45/R17 in front and 245/45/R17 in rear.

I will try to install and test with 25mm spacer. Thanks for advice. I think 25mm spacer will make 8" wheel in rear to look better as same as 9" in 19" model.
