Uh yeah, - like Joe said, we had this discussion back in 2007... The next time you finish driving your car, take your hand and feel your exhaust tips. It might hurt a little, but you'll know first "hand" (sorry I couldn't resist) as to why they couldn't connect the actual exhaust tips to the bumper.

thanks Javy,,now I have 2nd degree burn on my right hand.....
jk jk
I guess I didn't think it through,,for some reason, I thought that the heat
from the exhaust tip wouldn't or couldn't do anything to the bumper....
thanks for the explanation..now I know first "HAND" as to why they didn't connect the tips to the bumper..lol

Lets also throw in the fact that the exhaust moves with engine & transmission shifting, heavy launching, when the car turns, when you go over bumps... etc. etc..
I think you get the point..? !

hmmm... u sure buddy? i thot there was enuff space.. the only difference will be that the IS-F has a kit below the twin exhaust but this aftermarket wont have... and if someone wants to have the kit below it then rear bumper of IS-F is needed?
please correct me if im rong
thnx

srsly, i like the look of dual exhausts but I prefer center exhaust or single for anything under 8 cylinders.
no point in making a car heavier with a less efficient exhaust just to make it looks a tad bit prettier.
I prefer form follow function but I understand mass producers only look out for the masses.
