This pic came off Hapaboy's post, but my case looks exactly like this.
lol i got the same case... its makes it slightly bulkier in thickness tho. But at least its looks much cleaner.

I have mines for my is without the case since I got it back in early 2007. If it gets bad, which it still looks superb without the case and major drops, ill buy a sexy case or one of those silicone rubber color casings.

i use it because I carry a knife in my pocket that has abrasive grips. Otherwise it would scratch up my key

When I first had it on, i felt the same way about it as you did, it was ugly and bulky. So i then took it off and noticed as time went by, the key fob was getting a bit of wear on it. I immediately put it back on and just dealt with it to protect my key fob.

I've been using mine since day 1 just to protect it from scratches from other keys in my pocket.

Got rid of it a couple weeks after I got my car. Just seemed too bulky, and I don't really like the way it looks.

They put a little leather protector around my two keys, but I think it makes it feel much bulkier in my pocket. Do you guys all use it? Will the key transponder get really scratched up by the other keys without it? Thanks.
I don't use mine & I've had no problems.

the JDM case extends the range of the signal for sure.

I had to buy it something like $14. It's made in China as usual.
