Default ticking noise in engine

I have a 2009 is 350.I noticed noise in the engine, so I brought the car to the dealership. They told me it was the injectors, and it was normal. When I got home I checked my invoice and it said ticking coming from fuel pump. Just wondering if any one else is having this problem? Thanx

If its what I think it is, its a normal ticking that comes and goes for me and quite a few others on the forums. Unfortunately, there is not a fix and not everyone notices it to be a problem that Lexus has to fix. I sorta learned to tune it out.

It's normal for direct injection engines, no need to worry. They all do it, including my 07 IS350.

Yep, it's totally normal. If you need more evidence, do a search with the word "ticking" and you'll be convinced. I am thinking about the new license plate, "ticker." I've come to love the sound, as it purely revails a Lexus is present (GS does it too).
