Torque Braking for Launch - Damage to vehicle?
Any damage being done to the car by torque braking for launches? Or possibly just speeding up the wear of wear parts?
Or is it absolutley fine and I'm an idiot for posting this stupid question?
Also... what have you found the best RPM to take your foot off the brake at?
I'm still trying to find my sweet spot because it seems anything 2K or higher I'm spinning my wheels and going nowhere at the jump.

None that I've every noticed when I had the car. With some experimentation I once tried to get the brake torque as high as possible and the car did something odd, which I can't explain. Needless to say it was my worst 60' time ever. Keep the revs low and just mash the pedal.

Should be fine with little issues below 1500 rpm's. If you go higher than that then the frist copoant to fail will be your tq converter. Even higher then you'll start to break mount points on the tranny. These could also lead to cracks in the casing.
These are the failures I seen in my old IS300 Turbo. Of course it had alot higher HP but all the failure came while tq braking.
If your doing it daily then you will destroy you tq converter pretty quick. But what does that really matter just replace it with a better on when it fails

At the power levels and rpms you're discussing you're not doing much harm to the torque converter.
I wouldn't do it daily, but once in a while won't hurt it... certainly far less than a clutch dump on a manual would.
If you really want higher rpm launches though the proper method would be a higher stall torque converter (or just have em bend the fins on the stock one to raise the stall a bit since I doubt anybody offers an aftermarket part for this transmission)
