Default Did the three recalls, have a question about the power steering one

Is it just me or does the new electronic power steering unit feel heavier than before the recall. Not that it bothers me, I actually like it. I think they changed it out with the 2009 EPS unit or whatever the year the steering wheel with more feedback revision came out. I don't see why they would inventory two different EPS units anyways.

Any thoughts?

I seriously don't feel a difference, that or I don't care to notice. As long as its free and I get a free loaner (09 RX350) n free gas (gave me a half tank, I gave it back to them at E.) then i'm good to go.

I feel you. My steering, after the recall, feels significantly better. It's much stiffer and responsive. I always thought one of the weaknesses of my 350 was the mushy steering, but now after the recall, it feels much better. It's not Beemer or Audi territory, but a huge improvement nonetheless.
