My new car (1st post)
Hello clublexus. I'm probably one of the youngest guys on here. I've been working since I was 15 to buy a nice car and finally splurged 
. I picked up my 06 IS350 a week and a half ago and I love it! I got a silver/black leather one with premium and luxury package, 27K miles. The dealer wanted 30K but I could tell he was really desperate (they had 6 IS350s on the lot and none of them had sold for a while). I managed to talk him down to 26K.

I used to be a BMW guy but I got converted recently. My first car was a 1994 325i that I got from my parents. It was fun to toss around the parking lot but it was a PITA to work on/keep running. My alternative to getting the IS was a BMW E46 M3 (last generation, not current). I changed my mind because of a few reasons. I asked my insurance provider what my insurance would be with both and the premium was nearly double for the M3. I sat in both and while the interior was nice in both cars, it seemed much more elegant in the IS whereas the BMW's was trying to look cool/expensive. Add to that a great CPO warranty (dealer offered me 5 years/100,000 miles) and I was sold.
