09' Rear Red Out Question
I just received my 09 rear taillight red outs and it didn't come with any directions. I have been researching about its installation and came to the conclusion that I should use the wet method instead of applying it like a sticker. My question is if I use the wet method, what type of soap is the best to use with the water? I heard Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo works well, but I would like other opinions. Also, the more important question is how much shampoo and water? what water to shampoo ratio should I go by?

I used generic target baby shampoo diluted in water (don't remember the concentration)and put in a spray bottle, it was tough to get them right but they have stayed on with no peeling or anything.

Use baby shampoo, it's less then $2 for a bottle and worth it. Makes for an easy install.

I did mine over 3 years ago and had a hard time pulling them off when I turned it in after my lease was up.

according to aero tect, 32 ounces of water with 3 drops of baby shampoo.. i cleaned my lights with a microfiber towel with some alcohol to get all the dirt off then sprayed on the baby shampoo solution on the lights and a little on the vinyl as well. once you have it on, dry everything off then apply the curved stickers. what you should do is turn on your emergency lights so it makes it easier to see what yellow parts you need to cover up with the curved stickers

i got the aerotect reds, but i used a few more drops of baby shampoo than they had recommended, and i saturated both the light and the vinyl. worked pretty well. if you goto the travel/sample section of target you can get a mini bottle of baby shampoo and a spray bottle for a buck each.
