IS owners,

Please help! I got the 08 IS250 a few months back from the dealer. Everything was flawless. Lately, the car suddenly shakes and rattles for about 2 seconds when I stop at the traffic light. It scared me off initially. It happened only a few times. I am not able to reproduce the issue. So, I guess it wouldn't help if i take it to the dealer. Anyone have this problem? Any idea?

I didn't pay attention to the idling rpm. It happens all of a sudden. And, it shakes like earthquake or something. My IS250 had just reached only 8k miles.

It seems that I am not alone. But, if that's injectors issue, wouldn't it suppose to happen regularly? It got to be some other condition(s) as well. Like intake air temputure? Hope someone can tell me details about it so I can convince my wife the car is safe to drive.

BTW, does it only happen to the IS with auto tranny?

It happened again. and, yes! The rpm did drop to 400-450rpm when it was shaking. I bet that's going to scare off the pessengers.
