Default Photos: Radiator and bumper...

1. It is the top of my radiator, is that crap around is normal thing or not?


2. What for this thing is used? Just some sort of silencer?

Yup #2 is like sound deadening foam. If you cut into it, you will discover a foamy packaging material like fabric

#1 Just looks like dirt to my untrained eye. Wipe it off.

#1 Looks like its not dirt, it is dried up antifreeze liquid...

the pink stuff might be dried up coolant.

i've always thought that foam thing was to absorb the heat emitting from the rear of the fog light so it doesn't melt the plastic wheel well liner.

I agree. Looks like you have a slight leak on the top of the rad. Looks like corrosion from the residual coolant.

its not a leak... the isx50's radiator was designed with a overflow valve which pretty much just overflows onto the top of the radiator...
