Stock for stock, the IS350 will lose against any STI/EVO/335i in the straight line and the tracks, good course with equally skilled drivers and especially in the tracks where it will get its butt raped. Most magazines have IS350 times at 13.9-14.2, some members here claim 13.5. magazines have evos(03-06) getting down to high 12's and 335i's at low 13's.

BS! show me a stock evo that run 12's stock...IS350 does alot faster than 13.9-14.2 stock, because I ran 13.6 factory stock and that's no where close to some member on here. stop reading those magazines...it's bias IMO. If we're talking about circuit track then your statement is valid, but you're wrong if you're talking about the drag strip.

I'll agree with you on the sti/evo part but 3/4 of the youtube videos of stock is350vs335i's....335i's are getting their *** handed so I have no idea what your talking about. Whoever is running 13.9, doesn't know where their doing on the track cause our cars are easily in 13.5's and under. We got caymandive doing 12.8's and hks350 doing 12.5's and under but their modded....stock is 13.5's and lower

Fastest stock 335i is running 13.2. Same with stock is350. Don't know how you got 13.9-14. What a joke..

Stock 335i 13.2

Stock IS350 13.2

I have both 335i and IS350.

Some magazines are known to be bias. You can't always rely on magazines. Real life experience > magazine racing.

What I think is that the 335i is way harder to launch than the IS350. But once it reaches speed over 100+, bye bye IS350.

We should be back on topic now. Way off topic.

my friend has an STI and another has 335i

we've raced several times and i pull on the STI in every gear slowly and it gets worse after 100mph.

the 335i is pretty much equal with the is350 stock for stock.

i have a time slip for 13.4 when i was stock...
u gotta stop reading magazines bud

ROFL, dude dont read car and driver/edmunds read IMPORT TUNER FTMW!!! IMPORT TUNER BABY YEAH!!! hahahahaha

your a funny guy, want the truth? put 2 average joes (like 95% of the ppl who actually drive the cars) and take them to a race track, bmw/evo/sti fanboys will ALL say its the drivers fault why the bmw/evo/sti will lose to the is350. Still a loss is a loss... no excuses. is350 on the street will take on most commers, btw... you do know that most REAL racers (ppl who race brackets to top fuel) will take a auto over a standard in the quartermile ALL THE TIME. Your ignorance of 'racing' is showing and if you dont want to make a fool of yourself even more, please stop.

13.5s all day long with a couple 13.4s here and there. The IS350 is UNBELIEVABLY CONSISTENT!

By the way, mid 15s for a 200hp luxury sedan is pretty decent!

You are correct about this. I raced a 335 off the line on the streets and he couldn't pass me till about 115mph. GL to them now cause I'm going to spank every stock-mildly modded one out there!
