Life expectancy of the TPMS batteries are 5-6 years... just shy of the 4yr/50k warranty.
Breaking news.. the batteries are not replaceable...
So you will need to buy New TPMS sensors when they go out, after warranty expires..

I hope you're wrong. I was told that the TPMS sensor batteries were supposed to last 10 years.

The OP is not talking about the sensors, just the tire valves themselves. I’m sure the sensors are covered. And "bumper to bumper" is just a catch phrase, as it excludes a lot of things, like tires for instance.

I believe the original tires are covered against manufacturing defects, though not road hazards or normal wear. I remember seeing a warranty document from Dunlop in the leather pouch in the glove box, though I have to confess I didn't read it.

The sensor/valve are a one piece item. If you are refering to the valve stem...thats a $0.10 item which any tire place can replace for free when you get tires.

yes anyone who thinks tires are covered under warranty is an idiot seeing as its a maintenance item. Of course wear items are covered if it fails due to a manufacturers defect.
