Default A bit of an update.

Haven't posted in a while, been very busy. I got the car back from the shop about a month ago, if anyone remembers my original thread - i purchased a salvaged IS250 with damage to the front. Turns out it was a bit more than a front bumper, but alot of the expense was covered by a family member who had bought the car back from an insurance company and had sold to me, also thanks goes out to a few forum members who really helped me out to piece this car back together. Its basically been sitting because i am awaiting to go through the vehicle inspection in order to register and get plates which is in about two weeks.

First impressions of driving it once it was done was the tire noise, however a pretty quiet cabin. I believe i heard the 'pop' in the dash once already, didn't seem all that bad. Handling is alright, a bit twitchy for my taste but i can certainly deal with it. The car is really slow from a dig, for having around 205 horsepower (not sure what the actual HP is due to drivetrain loss), i had thought that acceleration wouldn't be so dull, but once it shifts into 2nd and 3rd its def. enough power for freeway and street driving, this is definitely not a car to take to a drag strip haha.

Anyway, here are some pics.

My bike is well (04' GSXR600)

Cell phone pics are terrible.

Got the GFX lip on, 8000k HID. I have the darker red outs for taillights and rear bumper not put on yet, ordered CF wrap for the interior, i really want to wrap my roof black in vinyl. I need front tints badly, it looks terrible with just the back windows tinted. Blacking out the headlight/fog light housing soon. Hopefully by August i'll get springs and wheels. Not sure if i'm going to go F-Sport Springs or Tein?

The wheels i want are 19" XXR 006, i think these would look awesome.

So that's where i am now, any suggestions?

blacking out the headlight housing would look tacky on red.

Congrats on the fine 2IS! I love Matador Red, the pearl is insane in the sun. Good luck trying to stop the mod bug, sooner or later, you'll want and exhaust, etc.. etc..

MRM is very nice! You should go will coilovers if you want to fine tune the ride height later on.

I believe a forum member has these wheels? $700 isn't too big of a deal given that i'll probably reuse the tires on the next set of wheels once my budget loosens up a bit. That's the thing about modding, you can always change whatever you'd like. As far the headlights go, i have housings from my old headlights that i can paint and swap into these and keep the stock housing in case i changed my mind, i plan on blacking out the grill as well.

Thanks! I'm sure i'm going to need spacers to be completely flush.

Around Cleveland, i've never seen anyone with this combo, so hopefully it'll be a head turner.

Thanks! My other thought was G35 RAYS, but they're so expensive, i did sign up on the some g35 forums so i can check out if anyone is selling them.
