have u thought bout looking at the MRR's? B2autodesigns have some nice hookups...and you can definitely staggar the wheels you just have to size the tires so the rolling diameter is the same....i've been on mine for 3 months and about 5K miles on the setup and no issues period.

i would go with the second one though

I don't know how interested I am in staggering my wheels just because you can't rotate them resulting in tires being worn out quicker. Since I am a student my funds are extremely limited. Same size all around makes better since to me. I have looked at the MRR but they just have that lip and I don't know how good that looks im person with the same lip all around. Its not that I want a cheap rim, its just what is affordable to me. AND I did at one time want 20s but 19s are more reasonable and Vossens are only made in 20s I believe. A set of the Tenzos with tires are around $2,000. Thanks for the honesty guys. I just wasn't sure on quality, etc.

The G-spiders are only 18's and I would have to go 19s AT LEAST!

qft.

don't make the mistake of buying knock-offs. compromising quality (and in turn performance and safety) just to be cheap isn't worth it.

also, knock-offs have poor resale value. you'll end up eating a huge chunk of the cost in the long run.

lesson is? keep rolling along w/ your stock 18's until you can afford a real set of rims.

That and the fact that your IS is AWD... so you really SHOULDN'T run staggered. I've seen a few around here running staggered on AWD, and they are keeping the rolling diameter of the tires ALMOST the same (235/35/19 & 275/30/19) which I believe are .1inches off... but I still wouldn't do it. You ruin your AWD system and Lexus says they won't cover it, you'll be out tons of cash just to have a rear lip.

Having said all that, I like Tenzo. They look decent, work well with an AWD set up... no lip, full faced so they will look bigger. I would also recommend looking at the Five Axis S5F wheel. Similar to what your looking for, full faced and work well in an AWD set up. I actually have them on my wife's car.

i love the stock rims you photoshoped, they look good.
back on topic, i rather roll on stock than cheap brand wheels. if you are not willing to spend, just keep the car stock.
