Default Congratulations on a beautiful M3

Bimmers are drivers cars, plain and simple. If you like to drive the car to its fullest, like taking corners fast, like knowing what the car is doing at all times, then you now have a good example of these and more great features.
Please be sure to only use the BMW/Castrol 10w/60 in it, mind the oil temperature lights and dont race it until the oil is fully warmed up. This depending on where you live, may be after the water temp is in the middle. Warmed up oil = happy, long living engine parts. These are excellent road trip cars too. There are alot of aftermarket parts including BMW's versions of them now at the Dealer.
If you drive it alot and hard, be sure to change the brake fluid out regularly as well as the antifreeze.
I have had 5, 3 brand new and 2 used, and the best sounding stereo is in my '2003 540iT wagon. This one came from the factory with M5 front and back ends, M5 exhaust, M5 interior, and wheels. It has Dinan software and sounds and runs great, recent trip up north of me it got 27.5 miles per gallon.
I like the BMW Sport seats better than my '08 IS350 seats, they fit me great and have thigh extenders that help on long trips..
You are going to have a great time with that bad black car !!!

Jalopnik's stereotype of M3 Owners

"Driver Stereotype: Typically a ***** with an ego"

BTW: That's a great car, I got to drive one recently and I can tell you it's worth every cent that you pay for it.

Thanks. I'll won't be installing much of the aftermarket parts since I spent a lot of money on the IS already and once the mod bug bites, its hard to stop scratching. I do like the fact BMW has many aftermarket parts.

Congrats and Nice car! My next car will be a BMW 3 series with a stick. Unless lexus decides to make a stick for the 350 or an engine making at least 230hp.

I owned a M3 for a very short time. I liked it but it was hard to control. With so much horsepower I always wanted to go fast. After I got pulled over 2 in 1 day i sold the car in a month. Enjoy ur M3. I miss mine!!
