they offered it as a "chrome package" at my lexus dealer. that was chrome, as well as the front grill, and parts of the interior also. It was on the floor model at my dealer. I made sure they did not do that to my car, you'd hafta pay me to put that on my car.

Nice write-up, my wife's gs has them too, also on the door handles. I will be removing them today. I am considering to use goo-gone on the remaining glue on the OEM peace; anyone have used that ?

Anyone know how to remove the OEM trim piece? Someone broke into my car and chipped the black shiny trim. I have the replacement part but am having a hell of a time removing the chipped piece.
EDIT: Never mind, there were just a couple of small clips and a lot of double sided tape holding it on.
