With or without a drop will not cause the rubbing. The problem is rear offsets and nice wide tires.

And nice ride!

Cool

I had/have 20" Auto Couture Latives in 9.5/10 setup and wanted something smaller/simpler. I commute to work and got tire of feeling every pot hole I hit so wanted some slightly meatier tires to help absorb bumps.

If I decided to lower it, I'd need some smaller tires.

So that's my only dilemma. I, like all people, appreciate a lowered car.

Yes, I can appreciate decent ride quality too, especially on a Lexus.

I went with Eibach 350's for a modest drop (1.0"/0.8") and the least deterioration in ride quality. My wheels are 19x8.5 35 and 19x9.5 45 with 235/35 and 275/30's. I get very slight rubbing (front) in some U-turns situations only, not worth fixing.

I got the tires from tire rack for a pretty good price, at least I think I did. Some reviews said they were loud on the freeway, but I've only driven it once so far and don't really hear any difference.

They are nice and meaty and have awesome treads.

I'm leaving here in a bit and will be doing some freeway driving, so I'll have more to add on the noise.

Just got back from my trip. I heard no excess noise from the tires. Ride was nice and smooth. And I didn't rub either, ...weird.

Default Update pictures

I washed my car today and tried to get some decent evening shots, but the sun went down before I could bust out the camera.

So here are somewhat better pictures:

Here's one of my bulldog, Tank, who was watching my back while I washed. He was checking out a Chihuahua that was walking by.

I've also decided to get some coilovers, just trying to decided between Tanabe Pro FIVE or BC Racing's setup.

in my opinion, the "slam" look is a bit overboard. you should go with just springs, such as eibachs or f sports. they are much cheaper too.

The wheels look very good on your car. Get coilovers! Dont second guess!
