on tungsten I'd do painted unless you are painting your roof black then I would go carbon!

I prefer painted, but it is personal preference. I have a bit of CF on the exterieor of my TP IS (license plate, 'L' emblem, and pillars), but wouldn't want the roof spoiler in CF. I go for the subtle look, and most people wouldn't even notice the CF on my car, but a CF spoiler would stand out. Take your choice.
