Hi guys, new to here, and I'm sure you guys have much more experience on cars than I do, or pple out there having same questions as i do, if anyone could answer some of these questions for me, thanks: (Btw, I drive I250 Black 08)
1) I want to tint the windows, whats the best % before trouble w/ cops, 20% works?

2) I want to smoke the tail lights, does the smoke overlay works? or is bad?, ie in this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus...Q5fAccessories

3) In ur opinion whats the best wax or polish product for Black OBS IS250?

4) Does the F-Sport Exhaust worth to buy? or there better ones for cheaper ? example?

5) Does the F-Sport Air Intake add any Horsepower? if so how much?

6) Where to get the OEM ground effect body kit? site? provide if so please.

Please help answer some of these questions, are very helpful to me Thanks Guys! or Suggest any cheap mods to make enhance appearance

1. 20% is good, i would go with 5% but you live in Cali.
2. Depends on how smoked you want, best is to paint for dark.
3. Swissvax FTW
4. I like it, a bit pricey though.
5. It add's maybe 5hp or less
6. SEWELL, has them for $100 bucks!!

1. anything in the front window will get you a ticket, but I recommend 5% in the rear and 35% in the front if you want the front
2. smoke tail-light can be done using overlays or paint. If you really want them, then I recommend overlays so that you can just peel it off later

are you looking for performance gain? nice sound? nice look?
if you want look and little louder, then get the TANABE
if you want performance, then go with JoeZ
5. I'm not sure about F-Sport Intake adding a HP, but I know that you will feel better throttle response
6. since you are in LA, either Carson or Westminister Lexus to get the GFX

1. anything lower than 30% in front is going to give you trouble.. rears anything is fine...

4. F-Sport sounds good enough... if you don't wanna go too loud.. i recommend it personally...
5. go for JoeZ pipe and F-Sport lower intake box it'll give you power and sound!..

1. 20% is perfect, but anythin lower than 35% i suppose gets the 5-0's attention
2. i personally have the overlay/vinyl but i'm getting them painted for a more matched look.

6. gfx kit from sewell or westminster..westminster tried to say 202 (black onyx was in fact 212 obsidian..yea cuz i'm special, okay they almost identical but literally you don't lie..and sewell's f-sport exhaust price is around 900$ w/ shipping, westminster wanted 1300$ w/ shipping..vendor much? even called n mentioned from clublexus and they said ohhh, well if another dealer has a better price we can do better..dude why do we go sewell, because we trust the prices and know they rock..ughhh.

search is your best friend.

and if you can wait until the next lexus of westminster meet, you can pick up parts at employee pricing.

Worth it is your opinion. The tanabe is cheaper and adds the same power though. Both are pretty quiet if you're looking for sound more than power they're not for you. Neither adds -much- power... about 5-7 hp. All axle-backs add the same amount. A full exhaust like the Joe Z might add more like 10 but costs a lot more than something like the tanabe.


About 5 hp. The Joe Z intake adds the same amount for again a lot less $, but unlike the F-sport it's not legal in CA.
