^yeah that's what i was going to suggest, ip web cam. works really well when your car is at home near your computer and router. sometimes you have to be a "genius" to figure out how to view it from the web.

what about when your car is parked at work for example? i have a wireless wifi router in my car so i am exploring those solutions but somehow i don't think i need to be able to monitor the camera live. i think i'm happy with just hiding a few cameras in the car and then recording the interior/exterior for review later using a harddrive/sd card. you can do this with a bunch of different battery operated camcorders on the market (for 4-6 hrs at a time).

i'll let you know what i find, i remember seeing a link to some powerful but inexpensive b/w cameras (maybe search around here , or google "spy camera"). in the meantime, check out the bluetooth camera for the mac over at bt-1.com; it's cool.
