Exclamation Problem with F-Sport quick shifter

Hey guys just bought and installed the quick shifter about 4-5 days and I have a few questions for you other fellow owners.

1. The shifts are def much closer but it also stiffer is this normal?

2. When I go to bang second gear now it acts like a misshift every time and grinds the synchros. This happens when I shift into second and fourth gear but not when I shift up to 3rd or fifth.

If you guys could give me any insite it would greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

1. It is supposed to be stiffer and shorter. No more 1 mile long throws, it feels perfect in my opinion.

2. You are simply shifting too fast, this will cause grindage. Remain calm and don't throw the shifter so fast and dump clutch!

1. OK I figured it was normal just wanted to make sure

2. Well if I cant shift quick with a quick shifter whats the point in having it . When it was stock it never did this thats why I asked if anyone else had this problem or if it is just me.

Thanks,
Ryan

That's the point of a quick/short shift kit... Shifting like "normal" will get you into the next gear quicker/shorter!!

I understand... but without the quick shifter, if you slam it into the next gear, you can hear the tranny complaining.

Slow your shifts a bit, and you shouldn't hear it anymore.

I also I have problems with the quick shifter, I do not drive at high speed, but I have problems with gear shifting and I think I will break the transmission components.
Some method to learn how to shift gears, as the RPM at first, 2,3,4,5 and 6.?
