Default black chrome exhaust tips

Soooo, I'm trying to finish off the rear of my car.... I think I need some black chrome exhaust tips but I haven't found ones I like yet... anyone have a source for these?

Worst case I'm thinking of getting some S2000 tips and having them black chrome plated.

And before anyone responds, I am not interested in aftermarket exhaust. I want my car to stay quiet as is... this is purely for cosmetic reasons.

Sounds interesting..one comment is you will have black chrome tips and regular 'chrome' emblems..seems having them the same would be the best in terms of a good look

if you want a cheaper alternative...
try Duplicolor Smoke Metalcast and paint them yourself.
(not sure how that will hold up to the heat, tho)

edit:

they advertise it as paint for exhaust tips

so i guess it would be ok

Perhaps it's not clear in the pic, but the emblems are black chrome... so is the license plate frame... and so are my rims (but obviously you can't see that in these pics).

I think I found a set... they might just be too long. I wonder how much it is to have them welded on... anyone know?

Hmm, seems it would chip easily though.... I tried that paint with my badges (prior to buying the black chrome ones from Sewell) and the paint chipped after a few months just from washing the car....

Go for it then! It should look great with the consistent look. I would like to find aftermarket tips that are nice than stock, but not a new exhaust system. Its one of those areas I wish Lexus would improve from stock...Honda did it with the S2000.

The one I originally wanted is 8" long, which is about 1" longer than what I need for the Ings rear.

The Ractive one looks good, I had been thinking about that however the only place I found that advertised it now has it discontinued.

Just don't clean your stock tips for a few months. Seems to be what everyone else is doing these days anyway.

also, does it fit on the IS350 with ING's kit?

and our inlet is 2.5" isn't it? and this ractive one is only 2" on the inlet. i duno if t going to fit or not.
