Anyone notice their cooled seats not working that great?
It seams like the area under your butt is cooled decent, but my back actually feels like its getting warmer, i felt the passenger side and thats exactly what was happening, the seat on the bottom felt not cold but cool, and the back felt warm, like someone had been sitting against it for a while (no passenger) just wondering if anyone else has experienced this

I actually used my seat cooling the other day (been around 100+ for about a week here in KS). Worked like a charm, nice breeze kept my stuff from getting swampy that's for sure. I never notice any warmup on my back. It's always been my understanding that the 'cooled' seats are simply a fan, nothing to do with A/C so it's never going to get 'cold' on your seat...but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

When I first tried the cooled seats feature I also felt that it doesn't work properly. Then I found out that thing is that our seats ventilation airflow is not dispersed enough, it blows in one small area between your knees and butt and in one small area between shoulders and butt so if you want to cool more space under yourself you got to wiggle on the seat.
So its pretty cheap seat ventilation we have, but still nice and much better than no seat ventilation at all (hello BMW 3er)

the cooling seats are ok, not the greatest. I live in vegas, it doesn't do much. even the heated part. my acura MDX's heated seats are so hot that you just want to turn them off it's so warm!

In previous posts people have recommended directing the A/C air distribution to the floor vents to help the ventilated seats in cooling down.
Personally I haven't found it helps all that much, and don't even both turning them on any more.
The seat heaters, on the other hand, work reasonaby well (not as well as the ones in my Audi that would get uncomfortably warm at their highest setting, but warm enough to help on a cold day)

Be careful what claening and conditioning products you use on your preforated leather seats. Thicker cream type products could clog the pours and I would imagine that would lead to less cooling and heating efficiency.

i've never noticed a problem with them working but i tried them out today and noticed that the fan makes quite a loud noise... anyone notice this?... typical fan sound nothing out of the ordinary but if you turn off the radio it's pretty annoying
