A few random thoughts

You may not have resolved the problem. I too had the noise (Using 0w-20) and brought it to the Stealer. They could not duplicate the noise and told me to bring it back if it accrues again. I think this happened because the temperature dropped when I brought it in. When the temperature went back up the noise came back. I changed the oil (Used 0w-20 again) after the visit and the noise went away. Then after 5K and the first hot day (90 degrees) of this year the noise came back. I'm thinking that the outside temperature has allot to do with the noise. I will wait till the temperatures are well into the 90s and bring it back in and see if they do the tsib. If not, I will be going to 0w-30. I think the temperature has more to do with the noise then the oil weight. Time will tell!

Haha, I'd rather not chip my teeth and get concussions when I'm driving to work Paul...
You're right, I may have not fixed the problem. However, I changed my oil several weeks ago, and have not heard the noise return since, whereas before this change I would always hear the noise every few days. The temps in that span of time here in SoCal have ranged from 45-100 degrees, so I'm reasonably certain I solved it. As you said, time will tell!
Sewell has it for $250 using promo code NAV08 and you also get a $50 rebate, making it $200.
I knew I forgot something... Thanks to Joe, I'm also enjoying no more pink coolant splashing and leaking all over my engine bay. Joe "engineered" a longer tube that routes behind the electric fan and ends up at the oil filter housing access panel. Any excess coolant is routed through the tube down onto the oil filter housing access panel, and not all over my engine cover. You can see below how Joe dremeled a hole in the tab behind the electric fan and routed the drain hose through it. Thanks again Joe!
Ok, so blah, blah, blah, right? Time for more randomness:
iPhone pics of my trunk:
Notice anything?
OEM inside lamp cover that covers...
...the adjustment ***** for my JIC's. I can adjust the dampening on my coils without having to peel back the entire trunk lining.
Some more form following function: This is something I've wanted to do since I bought this car - install a retaining bracket for my MAG-LITE:
