Default Anyone else offered "battery service maintenance?"

The last few times I have been to the dealer for various work I have been offered "battery terminal maintenance" for a fee. They are seeing corrosion they say. I looked several times and I see nothing. Am I missing something? The terminals look like new to me and the car is only a little over 2 years old. ?????

yeah, i dont see a point in battery servicing when they are probably charging you half the cost of a new battery to do so (and probably doing nothing other than dusting it)

Sealed batteries can still leak around the terminals and you get the crusty crud forming after a couple of years. But it should be a freebie at the dealership or you can do it yourself with a scrubbing brush and some soapy water in 2 min.
